Bill Bartman on Goal Setting

One of the greatest thing that I’ve found about iLearningGlobal is that some of the most successful people in the entire world, some of our Billionaires have come out and have shared a few of their secrets of what they do to be successful. Bill in the hi-def video talks about a Harvard case study that took place where they studied the word goal. They found that 70% of people that have goals fail, which is amazingly high! I mean if you really think about it, most people don’t even have goals! And those that do have goals, tend to fail at the very least 70% and chances are that number is much higher!

Harvard did another case study but this time it was on the word promise and they found that 98% of people fulfill their promises! 98 percent! Bill, in the video, states that if we replace the word goal, with the word promise we will have a much higher chance of succeeding because of the power of the word promise in our subconscious mind. In our minds, a promise has deeper meaning and brings up a lot more emotions to act on whatever it is that we promised. Because of what we make of our promises, our subconscious mind works on what we think about most and makes it a reality by manifesting to us how we feel. This helps us act on our desires.
